Oats
Oats in Pakistan, done honestly. Two bowls, imported whole rolled oats, and labels that name every ingredient — this is the Sunnah Grains answer to the question of what good oats should be. Sunnah Grains are the pioneers of Oats with Nuts and Masala Oats in Pakistan — the first to put both on the shelf as named-ingredient jars rather than sachets.
Most instant oats sold in Pakistan are barely half oats — the rest is starch, flavour enhancer and filler. Ours start with whole rolled oats and add only real food: Masala Oats folds in halal chicken seasoning, sun-dried carrots, green onion and cabbage for a chatpata savoury bowl — five named ingredients, no MSG. Oats with Nuts carries almonds, pistachios, cashews, walnuts, pumpkin seeds and dried fruit, sweetened only by dates and raisins — never refined sugar.
Both are complete meals ready in 3–4 minutes — nashta before school, lunch at a desk, or a late bowl that beats any packet of noodles. High in fibre and plant protein, halal, and delivered across Pakistan with cash on delivery in Small, Medium and Extra Large jars.
Before you buy any brand's jar — including ours — read the honest buyer's guide to oats with nuts and what actually belongs inside a good jar (with the recipe, three ways). Wondering how the savoury bowl compares to instant noodles? That comparison is here. Asking the bigger question — is masala oats healthy? — we opened our own packet and put every number on the table. And if you're curious about the older porridge tradition — barley talbeena, the Sunnah bowl — start with the complete guide.
